Senior Digital Performance Manager (Mobility Card)

Our client is the international market leader in the field of mobility cards for business customers. With this mobility card, business customers offer numerous benefits to their employees, including easy payment for refueling, charging the car in front of the door via a charging station, roadside assistance, parking without having to keep receipts, paying for maintenance and even traveling with public transport. For the employer there are also numerous advantages to this so-called travel card, such as paying afterwards via an invoice, digitally keeping track of employee refueling, reporting on driving behavior and having fixed discounts on fuel prices throughout the Netherlands.
We are looking for a commercial Senior Digital Performance Manager for their head office in Almere (located next to the station). In this role you will be responsible for digital channel performance across the European region, covering up to 11 countries, but primarily focusing on Germany and The Netherlands. What the role is about?
- Your role will focus on both the Fuel and Electric Vehicle products in growing and emerging markets, with a key focus on creating, executing, and reporting on “go to market” digital strategies for the Electric Vehicle proposition in key countries across Europe.
- You will manage digital performance, initiatives, and projects to drive digital acquisition in Europe.
- You will collaborate with the internal team (working closely with the in-house technical Paid Media Manager) as well as partnering with the UK team, the external agencies, and affiliate partners to deliver the acquisition strategy and ultimately the ambitious growth plans over the coming years.
- You will work continuously to improve our digital and creative assets and will help to drive our performance activities across our digital estate. Your role in driving performance for these areas will be essential as we continue to deliver streams of sustainable revenue.
What you will be doing?
- Manage and direct our internal paid media team to execute channels in line with the strategy and targets (PPC, Facebook, Display, LinkedIn & Affiliates)
- Collaborate with our internal paid media team to establish and deliver a robust optimization plan with clear and concise performance reporting
- Performance reporting against sales targets, showcasing digital contribution and opportunities to improve
- Weekly and monthly presenting of digital performance to key stakeholders and partners around the business, preparing clear and concise documentation to share results and plans
- Create and propose new lead generation strategies to trial and test in Europe, and lead the testing and onboarding of new channels/suppliers if successful
- Proactively coordinate regular creative refreshes across all paid activities
- Support the wider digital team with CRO strategy across the key European websites. Including driving the strategy, devising the actions, mentoring junior members of the team, and monitoring performance
- Work with external agencies to implement best-in-class tracking across our websites and be responsible for ensuring this is always up-to-date and accurate
- Work with Marketing and Technology teams to deliver an improved UX and customer journey

What you bring to the table?
- Highly commercial, with an eye for detail in spotting performance trends and an ability to efficiently respond to performance peaks and troughs, knowing which action to take based on performance data analysis and communicating it quickly and efficiently to stakeholders.
- Numbers-driven, with the ability to work towards and exceed targeted metrics with a detailed understanding of paid search and digital channels.
- Experience in creating, developing, and managing digital paid media strategies across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Experience in setting up, managing, and reporting using GA4 (previously Universal Analytics)
- A data-driven digital expert, you will have a deep understanding of funnel metrics
- Able to embrace a team attitude, you will deal with complexity and ambiguity here and we have found a collaborative approach is the best response.
Who are you?
- You have proven Digital Marketing success, ideally in a B2B environment
- You have a proven track record of driving growth in a fast-paced organisation
- You have the ability to execute multi-channel customer acquisition strategies to drive visitors, click through and conversion, and maximize sales
- You have good commercial understanding of budgets, forecasting, finance, and contracts in relation to product management and development
- You are results-driven and KPI focused
- You are a web sales expert, with in-depth knowledge of using a mix of SEM, social media, and affiliates to improve sales productivity
- You have strong numeracy and analytical skills
- You are a good communicator as well in Dutch as in English
- You have experience with Salesforce and Marketo beneficial
